She doesn’t cry for water

She runs rives deep

She doesn’t cry for food

She has suckled trees

She doesn’t cry  for clothing

She weaves all that she wears

She weaves all that she shelter

She grows thatch ever where

She doesn’t cry for children

She’s got more than she can bear

She doesn’t cry for heaven

She knows it’s always there.

You don’t know why she’s crying

When she’s got everything

How could you know she’s crying

for fist one human being

Time’s a bird which leaves.

Its footprints

At the corners of your eyes

Time’s a jockey, racing horses

The sun and moon a cross the skies

Time’s a thief stealing your beauty

Leaving you with tears and sight

But you waste time trying to catch him

Time’s a bird and time just flies
